BMS Hellas is a company that was registered in Greece on 22nd September 2003 and has one office based in Athens and one in London. It is an independent company owned 100% by 4 partners, without any outside shareholders. The 4 partners are:

Gerald Tighe - Stelios Assariotis - Manolis Siatounis
The four partners above acquired the
company and the rights to the BMS portfolios of reinsurance business
emanating from Greece and Cyprus from BMS Associates Limited with
effect from 1st October 2006, following a management buy out MBO,
from BMS Group in London.
The partners of the company work
solely for BMS Hellas and are committed to serving clients in
Greece, Cyprus and the Balkans. The partners have many years of
experience in the business of reinsurance, specifically in the
countries of Greece and Cyprus.

Professional Indemnity Policy
BMS Hellas has purchased professional indemnity insurance on an each
and every claim and in the aggregate basis totaling 20,000,000.
This has been underwritten by Syndicates in Lloyds.
Code of practice and
compliance
Although not a requirement upon us, we intend to adhere to the full
UK Financial Services Authority FSA guidelines. This was the
level of compliance the partners adhered to previously and wish to
continue with going forward.

BMS Hellas realises the importance of servicing the facultative reinsurance needs of our clients. In order to offer the best possible service we have managed to obtain a multi line facultative facilities from a very well respected Syndicate in Lloyds. The capacities are as follows:

of the BMS name from BMS Group.
BMS Group agreed to allow BMS Hellas to licence the BMS name and
its logo until 2012. The previous Chairman of BMS Group,
Graham McKean, is on the board of BMS Hellas in a non-executive role
acting as Chairman.
